Just last week Gumpert surprised us by showing the Explosion at the Geneva Motor Show and now the marketing chief, Harald Schlegel, has announced that the Tornante production version is headed for a 2015 release. The Tornante is not a new car in fact we saw the concept all the way back in 2011 at the Geneva Motor Show but this was a concept car up until now. It will sit on the Apollo platform and will look different to the original concept images. Not much else is known about the car but the concept car came with a twin-turbo V8 engine pushing 690 hp. Look forward to seeing an updated photo of this new machine coming from Gumpert.
