BMW Unveils Their Hot New SUV’s X6M and X5M

BMW have finally unveiled their hotted up SUV’s in the form of the 2015 BMW X5 M and X6 M. To put it forward, they both look properly menacing and I already want them both!

They have aggressive front bumpers, side skirts, revised grille, ventilated front fenders, redesigned rear bumper and diffuser which is of course flanked by the four-tailpipe sports exhaust system. Making contact with the road are some big 21″ lightweight alloy wheels with Michelin Pilot Super Sport UHP tyres.

Inside the Motorsport styling continues with their Merino leather sport seats, revised instrument cluster, M steering wheel, aluminium gearshift paddles, Alcantara roof liner and some awesome contrast stitching.

Both the cars are powered by a twin-turbo 4.4-litre V8 engine that pushes out 567 hp and 750 Nm of torque. This is connected to an eight-speed M Steptronic transmission and an M-specific all-wheel drive system which allows the car to hit 100 km/h in just 4.2 seconds. Continuing under the performance updates we cannot forget that the cars have been fitted with M Servotronic steering system and a sport-tuned suspension that lowers the ride height by 10mm. No word on South African pricing yet but US pricing is as follows; $99,650 for the X5 M and $103,050 for the X6M. Based purely on looks, I would opt for the X5 over the X6 but I am sure they are both amazing to drive!
