BMW has intorduced the new M5 Pure Metal Edition for the South African market. It has been designed through the BMW Individual program and the exterior colour is called Pure Metal Silver Metallic. The only other change on the exterior are the 20-inch M double spoke alloy wheels. Inside the car, drivers will find black Merino leather sport seats with Silverstone contrast stitching.  The special edition also has Dark Aluminum Trace trim and an individually-numbered plaque with “PURE METAL M5” badging. The 4.4-litre TwinPower V8 is the same in any other M5 but this particular unit pumps out nearly 600 horsepower and 700 Nm of torque. 0 to 100 km/h is thus dealt with in just 3.9 seconds. The car also has the Competition and M Driver’s packages.  There’s also a sportier suspension, an Active M Differential and M Carbon Ceramic Brakes. Production is limited to just 20 units and you will be asked to part with a whopping R 1,948,000.
