BMW Should Launch M240i and M140i This Year With 335 HP

The much loved M135i and M235i (Coupe and Convertible) are apparently going to be replaced in the coming months by the M140i and M240i to bring them in line with the new 340i and X4 M40i monikers in the range. We knew this was going to happen but BMW Blog are reporting that the new models will get an extra 15hp each to bring total output up to 335hp. Do you think the engine update could bring the models too close to the M2 or is that little M car in a league of its own?
