Bugatti have confirmed that the Veyron successor will indeed be called the Chiron and it will make its world premiere at the Geneva Motor Show in March next year. The new Bugatti will be named after Louis Chiron, a racing driver who won almost all the major races for the brand during the 1920s and 1930s. More than 100 orders have already been placed even though the new machine is currently undergoing its final testing. The design will be heavily inspired by the Vision GT Concept, albeit with a much toned-down aero aspect and it will use an updated version of the quad-turbo W16 8.0-litre engine, producing around 1480 HP. The 0 to 100 km/h sprint time will be in the low 2’s and a top speed of around 464 km/h could be possible.
