A while back we saw the R8 TDI LeMans Concept and now a new report indicates that the company will finally offer a production model with a diesel engine.
According to Automobile Magazine, they will launch an R8 TDI in 2017 but little else is known about the car. I would think either a 4.0-litre V8 TDI or 5.0-litre V10 TDI (currently being developed for Bentley) will be fitted.
