Think you know all there is about cars? Ah, but if you’re honest with yourself, we bet you’ve made some rather silly mistakes over the years with vehicles. Don’t be bashful, we’ve all had these errors in judgment, and as long as you learn from the issues caused, they don’t matter.

    Petrol Or Diesel

If you’ve ever put petrol in a diesel car or vice versa, you know what happens. You turn on the engine, the car sputters for a moment and then clunkers out leaving you stuck in a gas station. The worst part is admitting your embarrassing mistake. The good news is that you’re not the first person to do it and you certainly won’t be the last.

    Parallel Imperfection

You know you can parallel park, you’ve done it hundreds of times. But suddenly, when there’s a queue of traffic behind you waiting patiently, you lose your nerve. You make silly mistakes and end up with the back of the car out and the front in. What do you do? Keep correcting or quickly drive off in a fluster? We think you know the answer.

    Lights Off, Lights On

At some point, you will leave your lights on in the car. The battery will drain, and in the morning you’ll be greeted with a dead car. You might think that you would never make this mistake. Indeed, in most modern cars the vehicle beeps to let you know the lights are on. But, it still happens, and you just have to make sure you know how to jumpstart the battery when it does. You can find out more in the following infographic.
