Ferrari’s F12 Successor To Retain Naturally Aspirated V12

So if this report is to be correct, Lamborghini is not the only manufacturer remaining faithful to the naturally-aspirated V12 as it claims that the Ferrari F12’s successor will do the same. Autobild confirms that the replacement for the F12 will arrive sometime in 2019 and the 6.3-litre V12 of the current car will be upgraded and used again.

More importantly is that it states that it will remain naturally-aspirated and will not follow the CaliforniaT or the 488. Having said this, we cannot rule out some form of assistance and earlier suggestions include some form of electrification may be featured. Whatever they decide to go for, we can assume the power output will be pretty ridiculous and since the F12tdf packs 770 horses, we can expect a figure close to 800 hp.

Beyond its drivetrain, it’s thought that the new car will be both smaller and lighter than the F12, giving it more on-track prowess.
