At this stage, we are not going to see BMW M take on the likes of the Audi RS4 Avant or Mercedes-AMG C63 Estate as they don’t seem to think there is a market for an M3 Touring.

If rumours are true, then BMW will not be offering a full-blown X7 M but Alpina have the next best thing with their upcoming XB7.
The 2020 BMW Alpina B7 may be a bit ambiguous than perhaps strictly necessary, but we’ve got to give it to the guys at Alpina for making the world a better place by dishing out such an alternative to the M760i.
It doesn’t look like we will see it before at least 2020.
To get that extra speed, ALPINA only tweaked engine management and newer intercoolers to keep everything nice and cool.
Alpina will be bringing their new D5 S to Frankfurt for it’s public debut.
