Aston Martin Unveil The Epic Vantage GT3

Aston Martin has taken the wraps off the Vantage GT3 and I cannot stop drooling. It has been described as the “most potent and uncompromising Vantage to date” and just looking at it tells you this. It features a carbon fibre wide body kit with modified bumpers, extended fenders and revised side skirts. Of course you get a few aerodynamic components such as a front splitter, rear diffuser and that epic rear wing. Aston Martin went one step further on this one and added a carbon fibre hood, black mesh grille, ceramic coated exhaust pipes and stunning 19-inch forged alloy wheels.

Inside the sportiness continues with a carbon fibre center console complete with touch-sensitive controls and of course the steering wheel is wrapped with Alcantara. Carbon fibre seats, leather door pull straps and an infotainment complete the interior. We all want to know about the power right? Well it is packed with the 6.0-litre V12 we have come to know but it has been bumped up to around 600 horsepower and 625 Nm of torque. This is connected to a seven-speed transmission which should allow the car to hit 100 km/h in just 3.7 seconds. Since it has GT3 in its name, you would expect this thing has been honed for track use and you would be right. You get track-tuned suspension with revised springs and dampers and a modified Adaptive Damping System. You also get a limited-slip differential and some carbon ceramic Brembo brakes. The Vantage GT3 has lost 100 kg when compared to the V12 Vantage S thanks to a whole host of weight saving measures. Production will be limited to just 100 units and the first deliveries will take place in the third quarter of this year.
