With destination fees, the new Ford Focus RS goes for $36,605 in the US of A but at a recent Barrett Jackson auction, one sold for a whole lot more. The winning bid was a whopping $550,000 but to really put it into perspective the individual who bought the car could have bough 15 of them at the normal price! All proceeds wend to JDRF (leading global organization funding type 1 diabetes research) which makes this a much better ‘deal’. Congratulations to the new owner for their new purchase and for their generous donation to a worthy cause.
