ABT Reveal Their Bonkers Special Edition Audi TT RS-R

The Geneva Motor Show is around the corner and if you pop past ABT Sportsline stand, you will see this limited edition Audi TT RS dubbed the TT RS-R.

They will only make 50 units of this little devil and I say devil because the 2.5-litre five-cylinder engine has been tinkered with to pump out a seriously impressive 493 hp and 570 Nm of torque. This equates to a 100 hp gain over the stock TT RS and is achieved by optimizing the motor management. The standard TT RS can hit 100 km/h in just 3.7 seconds so with this power boost expect it to run a 3.5 second sprint or so.

The tuner also fiddled with the cosmetics on the exterior and interior by fitting a body kit which constists of a front spoiler, grille frame, side skirt add-ons with side blades, and a multi-part rear skirt, all made from carbon fibre. Popping out the rear-end is a stainless steel exhaust system and wrapping up the visual changes is a set of 20-inch ABT Sport GR wheels finished in glossy black.

PS: Check the last image for a sneak peek at what ABT Sportsline will be bringing to Geneva…
