McLaren revived the Longtail moniker when they unveiled the 675LT and to run with the fantastic reception on the new 720S, they will be giving this the LT treatment too.
While speaking to Car & Driver, McLaren boss, Mike Flewitt describes the 675LT as “the purest distillation of what McLaren stands for – pure driving pleasure and will definitely repeat that [the LT treatment] in models going forward.”
Car & Driver also asked if that means the Sports Series is also considered for it and Flewitt let slip that “There’s huge potential to do that.” That means we could be seeing a McLaren 570S with the LT treatment before a 7xxLT.
McLaren continue to pump out models but it doesn’t seem to annoy too many customers as they keep buying them 😉
