We have heard rumor after rumor about the Hellcat version of the Grand Cherokee SRT but we can confirm thanks to Autoblog, it is real and it will debut next week at the 2017 New York Auto Show.
While chatting to Autoblog, he said ““That is going to be quite a special vehicle. Very difficult for one not to smile.”
Jeep are keeping very tight-lipped about it but we can assume that it will be fitted with FCA’s 6.2-litre supercharged Hellcat V8 engine that sits in the Charger and Challenger SRT Hellcat. This means we should be getting a big bruising 707 hp SUV capable of a 0 to 100km/h sprint of around 3 seconds.
Whether this comes to South Africa is unknown but don’t hold your breath.
