We are expecting to see the hardcore / lightweight Ferrari 488 in Geneva but since that only happens in March, we need to know more info about it. Thanks to @gumballteam57 we have a few more details on the creation coming from Maranello

    • Wheels will be carbon fibre making them 40% lighter than the 488 standard wheels
    • Most powerful V8 in Ferrari history
    • Evolution of the 488 Challenge engine
    • 10% lighter than the 488 GTB engine
    • Improved sound
    • Highest increase in power from standard car to V8 special series
    • Minimalist interior to keep weight down
    • Carbon fibre hood, front bumper, rear bumper and spoiler

Power is expected to be in the 700 horsepower region and with a big reduction in weight, this will truly be something special.
