Audi have said that they will not create rumors regarding the RS1 but by the looks of things, they have already made an even more mental car. At the Worthersee tour in Austria this year, they have revealed the A1 Clubsport Quattro. This is a turbo-charged monster (same engine as TT-RS) with AWD that pumps out 503hp. It rapidly reaches 100km/h in 3.7 seconds and will smash the 200km/h mark in a shade under 11 seconds. This is a proper racer and with no back seats, no audio, carbon ceramic front brakes and some bits and pieces taken from the R8-GT, this car means business. Big flared wheel arches and some seriously retro wheels make the car stand out dramatically from the standard A1. I think this is slight overkill for the entry level A1 and do not see one being able to purchase this car in the near future… if ever.
