Novitec Torado Lamborghini Huracan Kit Unveiled

Novitec Torado have just released their exclusive package for the Lamborghini Huracan which expands their Torado range from the Aventador. Please see their press release below the images for more information. I am almost 100% sure that we will see some Huracan owners in South Africa going for this kit in the very near future.

Tailor-made customization options are now also available for the Huracan. In a first step, NOVITEC TORADO offers aerodynamic-enhancement components optimized in the wind tunnel, high-tech forged wheels with matching suspension modifications, high-performance exhaust systems and exclusive options for the interior.

The NOVITEC TORADO designers have developed an equally spectacular and aerodynamically efficient aerodynamic-enhancement kit to add even more extreme emphasis to the wedge-shaped design of the Lamborghini Huracan. The new bodywork conversion makes the mid-engine sports car even more of a superior eye-catcher and further improves its handling stability at high speeds. The precise-fit NOVITEC TORADO aerodynamic-enhancement components can be painted in vehicle or contrasting color. Alternatively, all components can also be ordered with a clear-coated carbon-fiber finish for that full-blooded racing look.

Sophisticated modifications further sharpen the profile of the Huracan’s front: the production bumper is upgraded with a front spoiler, central blade and side flaps from NOVITEC TORADO. In addition, the company developed a special trunk lid with integrated air duct. Wind tunnel tests have demonstrated that the new aerodynamic-enhancement components reduce lift on the front axle, thereby further improving handling stability at high speeds.

NOVITEC TORADO rocker panels, carbon-fiber mirror covers and new side air intakes on the rear windows that also optimize the air supply to the engine bay elevate the side view of the ten-cylinder rocket to a new exhilarating level.

Of course, the rear end of the Huracan also undergoes extensive revisions: the combination of NOVITEC TORADO rear airfoil and diffuser gives it a racing look and generates maximum downforce on the rear axle. Owners of the two-seat sports car who prefer a more subtle look can opt for a NOVITEC TORADO rear spoiler lip instead. The carbon-fiber rear surround for the taillights fits both variants.

An optimal symbiosis of good looks and efficiency is also available for the hood: two hood scoops shuffle more air to the engine and create an even more exciting appearance.

A tailor-made carbon-fiber cover creates an out-and-out racing atmosphere in the engine bay as well.

Of course, the NOVITEC TORADO styling for the Lamborghini also comprises tailor-made high-tech wheels: the three-piece NL1 alloys feature five delicate double spokes and are manufactured using state-of-the-art forging technology. Their staggered combination with diameters of 20 and 21 inches emphasizes the wedge shape of the Italian sports car. Pirelli P-Zero high-performance tires of size 245/30 ZR 20 on 9Jx20 rims at the front and size 325/25 ZR 21 tires on 12.5Jx21 rims at the rear make optimal use of the available space under the wheel arches. The wheel variant with carbon-coated outer flanges brings out the motor racing flair of the conversion.

The NOVITEC TORADO sports springs, which lower the ride height of the two-seat sports car by about 35 millimeters, are calibrated specifically to this tire/wheel combination.  Huracan drivers preferring even sportier damper settings can opt for a height-adjustable coilover suspension that is currently under development.

Of course, there is also virtuoso acoustic tuning for the V10 engine of the Huracan in the form of the NOVITEC TORADO sports exhaust systems, available with or without active sound management by means of a controlled butterfly valve – optionally even at the push of a button in the cockpit. The high-performance exhaust systems are made from stainless steel or from the even lighter INCONEL, a material used in Formula 1 racing. Consequently, the NOVITEC TORADO high-performance exhaust systems not only deliver an optimized power delivery, but also offer weight savings over the production system. In addition, the company also offers lighter and more efficient sports catalysts.

It goes without saying that NOVITEC TORADO also fulfills individual customer requests when it comes to designing the interior. Every inch of the finest leather and Alcantara in any desired color is finished with meticulous precision.
