So it seems Aston Martin are after the Porsche 911 GT3 RS as they are set to unveil a new lightweight, race-focused version of the V8 Vantage, called the GT8. They have already sent out invitations to potential buyers and the sketch below is what was included in that. It will become the lightest Vantage ever made thanks to extensive use of carbon fibre, titanium and aluminium.

    • 0 to 100 km/h around 4.5 seconds
    • Pricing start around £170,000
    • Production limited to 150 units (not confirmed)
Car will be fully revealed to customers this week so we will likely see some official pictures in the very near future.
