The LaFerrari Spider was already confirmed after we saw some of the invitations to customers to buy one but now Gordon Ramsay has made it official on Top Gear and Ferrari CEO has spoken about it too. Sergio Marchionne, Ferrari CEO, says potential customers have already been approached which probably means that they are all sold out. He confirmed in an interview with the Automobile website that a LaFerrari Spider was in development. Potential customers have already been shown the car. It is an opentop version of the fixed-head LaFerrari, all 499 units of which have already been sold. Production run of the Spider will likely be shorter than the Coupe’s which was 499 units but there are rumors going around that it will be just 150 units.
