    Finally we get some official details on the hotly-anticipated 991.2 GT3 from Geneva and for the Porsche purists, it is good news.

    • New naturally-aspirated 4.0-litre flat-six engine that delivers 500 hp
    • This unit is bespoke to the GT3
    • Tips the scales at 1,430 kg
    • When fitted with PDK transmission 0 to 96 km/h dealt with in 3.2 seconds
    • Top speed of 317 km/h
    • Six-speed manual is now an option (car loses 17kg’s with this)
    • Tuned chassis aimed at improving handling and driving dynamics
    • Rear Axle Steering has been added
    • New lightweight carbon rear wing installed
    • Modified front fascia fitted aimed at optimizing airflow
    • New diffuser. tailpipes, headlights and taillights wrap up the cosmetics
    • Inside you get the same steering wheel as the 918 Spyder
    • Modified sports seats with 18-way electric adjustment
    • The Porsche Communication Management (PCM) also comes standard
