The very last Lamborghini Gallardo has left the production line in Sant’Agata Bolognese which means they are making way for what promises to be one hell of a successor. The last model was a Rosso Mars LP 570-4 Spyder Performante which is one of the best Gallardo’s you can but and is off to a private collector. In total, 14 022 units were built which makes it one of the most successful super cars of all time. Prior to the Gallardo, Lamborghini production was around 250 per year and since its arrival it grew to 2000 without losing its exclusivity badge. One of the most impressive stats is that almost half of all Lamborghini’s ever produced, of which there are 30 000, were Gallardo’s. Farewell to one of the most brilliant cars I have had the opportunity to get behind the wheel of.
