Another 50th Anniversary which means another limited or special edition. I am not complaining when I say this trust me… Just look at the 50th Anniversary edition of the Aventador. Porsche has now developed a commemorative edition of the 911 Carrera S with production limited to 1963 examples (very first 911 born in 1963). It will show its face at the Frankfurt Motor Show in September and will go on sale at the same time. There will be no performance change unfortunately but there will be a few cosmetic changes with the 50th edition. A wider rear body will be the most noticeable change with a 3D ‘911 50’ badge on the rear lid and some 20″ ‘Fuchs’ style alloy wheels. This edition comes with a sports exhaust system a tuned version of the Porsche Active Suspension Management (compensate for larger rear), Porsche Torque Vectoring and all the fancy gadgets inside such as Sat Nav.

Inside they have added some styling to remember the original 911 which includes the green labelling on the instruments with white pointer needles and silver caps. The ‘911 50’ logo is also on the seat headrests, rev counter and the door sill plates.
