We have seen the sexy S63 Cabriolet but now it is time to see the beastly V12 powered S65 Cabriolet! Simply put, it is a four-seater convertible offering open-top luxury and effortless power delivery. The 6.0 litre twin-turbo V12 is rated at 621 hp which allows the sleek machine to hit 100 km/h in just 4.1 seconds and go all the way to 300 km/h with the AMG Driver’s Package. So what is different other than the power plant to the S63 Cabrio?
- New grille with mesh inserts
- New rear bumper with quad exhaust tips
- Unique 20-inch multi-spoke alloys
- Extra chrome trim and a smattering of “V12 Biturbo” lettering.
Orders of the Mercedes-AMG S65 Cabrio will be taken from 4 April 2016, before hitting dealerships in May. Expect a price tag in the region of $250k.
