They have called it the AMG GT Concept and it previews a high-performance sedan to join the GT family of Coupe’s and Convertible’s. So what is so special about this machine?
- Incorporates a performance hybrid powertrain
- Built around the same 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 as the existing two-door model
- An electric motor is added to deliver more than 800 hp
- 0 to 100km/h in “under three seconds”
If one was to say this is taking on the Panamera Turbo S, then this would smack it to kingdom come as the Porsche ‘only’ has 671 hp. This is more than just a concept as it is expected to make production in 2019 albeit with a few changes from this setup. Hopefully they keep the mind-boggling performance numbers.
