    Mercedes-Benz Special “Edition C” C-Class to Hit South African Shores

    A new limited edition Benz is on the way to our shores and it is called the Edition C. It is a new sporty revamp of the C-Class Sedan, Estate and Coupe models and this is always a good thing in my opinion. On the exterior of the new edition we get the following;

    • Radiator grille with high-gloss black louvres and chrome trim
    • Darkened headlights
    • AMG front apron, side sills and rear apron
    • Chrome tailpipes
    • ‘Edition C’ badge on wing
    • Set of high-sheen black 17″ five-spoke light-alloys (Sedan and Estate)
    • 18″ wheels for the Coupe
    On the inside we get the beautiful sporty transformations that AMG provide such as the sporty seats with the two-tone contrasting stitching in blue/grey and a dark aluminium trim. The sports steering wheel is finished in nappa leather again with the contrasting stitching. On to performance and this edition sees the introduction of the new C300 model. It has power output of 185kW and 340Nm of torque which allows it to hit 100 km/h in just 6.9 seconds.
    The COMAND online multimedia system has live traffic information which delivers traffic data in real time (this is perfect for those businessmen who do not want to be late for meetings). The Mercedes-Benz C 300 Edition C starts at R499 443.00 which makes it a rather interesting alternative to the C63 AMG if you just cannot bridge that price gap but want something a little sportier.
