The 2015 Audi S1 and S1 Sportback Quattro Revealed

Audi have just taken the wraps off the new Audi S1 and S1 Sportback and I like what I see! This latest S1 is fairly modest compared to the original Quattro S1 but times have changed and so have the cars. It will make its debut at the Geneva Motor Show and will feature a 2.0-litre TFSI power plant linked to the permanent all-wheel drive Quattro system. It will be packed with 231 horses and seeing as it is a little car will be able to hit the 100 km/h mark in 5.8 seconds! The Sportback is only 0.1 seconds slower but for the benefit of 2 additional doors, I think the Sportback is the way to go! Revamped suspension, bigger brakes, and the typical Quattro cosmetic changes are also included in the package. Xenon headlights, new front fascia, LED rear lights in a horizontal structure and the sporty looking exhausts complete the exterior package. Inside the car is finished in a traditional black scheme but the instruments feature a dark grey S and Audi also fit S sport seats with integrated head restraint. I have to be honest I think the styling job is fantastic and it will certainly turn heads on the road but I fear that the price will be dangerously close to the R400 000 mark. This just does not make sense to me!
