McLaren has announced that a Spider version of the epic sold-out 675LT is the works and it will likely be ready to arrive sometime next year. When McLaren announced the 675LT, they made it clear that it would only be sold as a coupe but according to Autovisie, they have changed their minds. They limited the coupe to 500 units so we can expect the same exclusivity for the drop-top version but it will demand a hefty premium over its fixed roof brother. Power will come from the same twin-turbo 3.8-liter V8 engine pushing out 670 horses and 700 Nm of torque. The important numbers will be extremely close to the 675LT Coupe which needs 2.9 seconds for the 0-100 km/h run and 7.9 seconds to complete the 0-200 km/h task before topping out at 330 km/h.
