A model based on the A45 AMG Edition 1 was launched at the Tokyo Auto Salon called the Petronas Green Edition purely as a tribute to the Petronas oil company (Merc’s major F1 sponsor). Specifically designed by the AMG Performance Studio, the model features green elements such as; front bumper, sides, headlight detail and some highlights inside the hot hatch. No changes will be made to the engine so it is still the standard 2.0-litre 360 horsepower turbocharged power plant. There will only be 30 units made all exclusively for the Japanese market. We will not see any of these in SA, that is for sure! Unless someone wants to add some unique touches via a wrap? What you think of the green touches on the inside?
