2015 SRT Viper Convertible Medusa By Prefix Looks Promising

Sales of the SRT Viper have been disappointing to say the least so one would not expect a convertible variant to be released anytime soon but thanks to aftermarket company, Prefix, you can now order and own a Convertible SRT Viper. It is dubbed the Prefix Medusa and the initial photos are extremely promising. The most obvious change is that of the new fabric roof but they had to slightly redesign the trunk section to accommodate the retracted roof. Prefix have said that the initial run will be just 10 examples (to gauge demand) and the cost for the conversion will be a cool $35,000. The total cost to buy a new SRT Viper Convertible now sits just below $140,000. Not bad if you ask me because I am a huge Viper fan and what better way to hear the demonic power plant roaring up front with the roof off.
