I was sent this picture by a fellow reader of what looks like a heavy collision between a white BMW M6 and a white Nissan X-Trail in Bryanston, Johannesburg and after doing a little digging I found the following on the ArriveAlive website.
“This morning EMER-G-MED’s M07 and A01 attended to a serious collision on Main and Culross, in Bryanston.
Paramedics arrived on the scene to find that two vehicles had collided, causing one to catch alight. Fortunately the fire was quickly extinguished by bystanders before their arrival.
Both drivers sustained minor to moderate injuries and were transported to nearby hospitals for further treatment.”
The car that caught alight was the X-Trail and according to EMER-G-MED spokesperson, Max Cohen, the X-Trail driver skipped a red light and slammed into the M6.
