The brand-new Porsche 911 Turbo S range was revealed this morning and we already have local pricing.

It is scheduled to arrive in May this year with the Turbo S coupe priced from R3,849 000 and the Turbo S cabriolet from R4,049 000. This includes a 3 year/100,000 km Driveplan.

As a reminder, you will get a 3.8-litre twin-turbo flat-six delivering 641 hp (478 kW) and 800 Nm of torque. That means you will be able to sprint to 100 km/h in 2.7 seconds* and 0 to 200 km/h in 8.9 seconds.

Top speed is the same as the previous generation which sits at 330 km/h.

Other standard performances and handling features that are carried over from the predecessor include Porsche Dynamic Chassis Control, rear-axle steering, and ceramic composite brakes, with the front calipers getting 10 pistons and 10mm bigger brake rotors. New to this generation, however, is the Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM) Sport suspension and sport exhaust system (two oval pipes) with adjustable flaps.

*The Cabriolet version will achieve it 0.1 seconds slower.
