Lamborghini and Ducati are reportedly back on Volkswagen’s list of assets that could be sold or spun off as the German giant funds a massive restructuring plan.
Expected to be a facelifted Urus Performante, it looks set to combine carbon fibre weight savings with a plug-in hybrid powertrain producing more than 789 hp (588 kW).
It features full replacement carbon fibre fenders, functional side skirts and a dual-layer swan-neck rear wing in a fully reversible package.
Production is reportedly set to be capped at 1,963 examples worldwide, a number that pays tribute to the year Lamborghini was founded.
It is expected to place a greater emphasis on performance and circuit capability.
All parts attach using OEM mounting points and do not require structural modifications to the Urus SE.
It becomes their most powerful drop-top production model yet, delivering a staggering 1,065 hp (794 kW).
The package is a full exterior offering made up of 18 newly developed parts.
All of the components have been developed to either replace factory parts directly or integrate as add-ons, meaning there is no need for cutting or permanent changes to the body.
