Lamborghini has finally unveiled their long awaited Huracán LP 610-4 Spyder and it is pretty much exactly what we all expected. It features a newly developed electrohydraulic soft top that opens and closes in 17 seconds at speeds of up to 50 km/h and operating the roof is done through a new button mounted mounted on the center tunnel. Roof colour will be limited to black, brown and red when ordering so I am guessing 90% of customers will be choosing black. It uses the coupe’s V10 5.2-liter naturally aspirated engine with 610 PS and 560 Nm of torque. It needs just 3.4 seconds for the 0 to 100 km/h sprint and 10.2 seconds for the 0 to 200 km/h run before topping out at 324 km/h. Fuel consumption stands at a relatively low 12.3 liters / 100 km thanks to a new start/stop system and cylinder on demand technology. It comes standard with carbon ceramic brakes teamed up with brake calipers painted in any desired color. Other standard features include LED headlights, 20-inch Giano alloy wheels and the 12.3-inch TFT instrument cluster. Lamborghini will kick off deliveries of the Huracan Spyder next spring.
