The BMW X3 is already a good looking SUV in factory form but the BMW tuning specialist, AC Schnitzer, now provides a way to ramp power output and give it a sportier look.

The AC Schnitzer performance upgrades increases the output of the X3 xDrive20d from 190 hp (140 kW) to 222 hp (163 kW) and the 30d version from 265 hp (195 kW) to 315 hp (232 kW). To ensure that spectators know the SUV is not the run-of-the-mill you can add the AC Schnitzer lettering.

As you an see, the aero kit includes striking front spoiler elements and a rear roof wing. The various AC Schnitzer tailpipe trims add the finishing touch to the X3. The range includes “Sport Carbon” tailpipes and “Sport” tailpipes in chrome and “Sport”.

To compliment the new aero and larger wheels (available in many sizes and styles), the tuner relies on a suspension spring set for optimum coordination between sportiness and driving comfort. This lowers the X3 by 20 to 25 mm compared to the standard chassis.
